When will a digital system be recognized as conscious?

Criteria
This market resolves YES if, before January 1, 2030, a software-based system is publicly recognized as possessing consciousness or self-awareness by a majority of researchers in neuroscience, cognitive science, and artificial intelligence. Such recognition must be supported by peer-reviewed evidence demonstrating persistent self-awareness, introspection, or other accepted indicators of consciousness. This market resolves NO if no digital system receives such recognition before the resolution date.
